In general tat ort is involved in cross-disciplinary projects that incorporate visual arts, architecture and urbanism. More specifically we have become increasingly concerned with the nature of human conflicts, their immediate dependency on contextual conditions such as the ethnical tissue, spatial settings (`spaces of conflict and spaces of exemption´), local politics and economics as well as their relational connectedness with global processes. In rendering these largely urban phenomena visible, we aim at revealing how conflicts emerge and how to tackle conflict anxiety by introducing `alternative realities.´ Sentiments of suppression or revenge are artistically dealt with in a playful manner. `Model worlds´ create the simulation space, in which `reality´ remains imaginative and sketch-like. The change of scale mobilises the full scope of agency in ever-changing perspectives: Suddenly this overview, but in the very middle of life.
